i do not think he said he was an expert on electrical, it was concerning to him the insulation is peeling back on it's own exposing the wire and could lead to something else down the line. it sad as to how this electrician is trying to belittle him by telling people to stay away from him... sounds like the electrician is doing something shady too and he does not want the home inspector to find things that don't belong or out of place...

I’m actually more concerned with what’s causing it, not to say someone doesn’t know what they’re talking about when it’s an obvious problem. A couple of those lines were close to shorting out, either to each other or to ground. This is definitely not acceptable under any circumstances (let alone, common sense).

Oh I see they have an engineer’s letter. So it’s technically out of the county Inspector’s hands and the engineer is taking responsibility for inspecting and approving it.
I've been working residential construction in AZ (electrician) for a little over a year now and I've gotta say that the "don't give a shit" attitude is systemic. Though I only work for reputable electrical contractors, many of the other trades on site act like complete animals with zero consideration for safety, workmanship and the future home-owners/renters. Jobsites are a disorganized mess, trades sabotage each-others work, jobsite dumpsters overflow and site facilities (crappers) hardly ever get cleaned and restocked. THEFT of personal belongings and job materials (wire, copper pipes, etc.) is rampant while builders sit on their hands. Builders have no incentive to produce quality when they can get away with pumping out dogshit. As a result, they pay their workers as poorly as possible, swelling the ranks of the workforce with all the bad apples of society. Integrity is rare on jobsites now-days.
They def dont check behind themselves. The office personnel does exactly what the field crews are doing. Quick and cheap. That email is full of typo’s. What a piece of work. 😂
I’m a plumber and I can tell you that’s still not up to code. There is no check valve and the expansion tank should be installed after the check valve. Also there is no bracket securing tank to wall. Check water pressure on domestic side and the expansion tank should be inflated to match that pressure
Just learned brick houses give you more radiation, but it's a negligible amount. Walking outside is bad too.
